THE SCHOOL OF THE ARTS
The School of the Arts brings together academic and artistic studies, offering a comprehensive core curriculum that is complemented by arts education in the areas of visual and performing arts, literary arts and arts administration. Partnering with the Robert and Margrit Mondavi Center for the Performing Arts, the School of Arts provides students with opportunities to attend performances by nationally renowned artists as well as take classes from master teachers.
The School of the Arts hosts a variety of productions yearly including the fall play, the spring musical, as well as music, drama, and dance venues. There are also annual exhibits with the 40 Acres Art Gallery, SMUD and other local galleries.
