SMALL
SCHOOLS
Sacramento
High School is organized into four small schools of
approximately 250 students each. Separated into the East and West Wing, each Wing is led by a principal, a
counselor and a team of highly qualified, committed
and caring staff. Each small schools creates a personalized
learning environment that is safe and where all students
are known by name.
Each
small school offers a rigorous liberal arts curriculum
that provides a full range of college preparatory
courses, including Advance Placement. The program
of study is designed to fulfill all state requirements
for accreditation and meets the "A-G" requirements
for admission into the University of California, California
State University and other public and private colleges.
Each small school also offers a sequence of electives
which emphasizes the school theme. This approach offers
students challenge, flexibility and choice.
