School Site Council

The School Site Council is responsible for developing important school plans that are designed to improve instruction, services, organization, and the school environment at the school site. In August, the Sac High School community established its 2010-11 School Site Council. The Council is composed of the principal, teachers, other school personnel, parents of current students, and community members, as well as students currently attending the Sac High. The Sac High School Site Council convenes once a month on the Sac High Campus.

The Sacramento Charter High School Site Council:

1. Measures effectiveness of improvement strategies at the school.

2. Seeks input from school advisory committees.

3. Reaffirms or revises school goals.

4. Revises improvement strategies and expenditures.

5. Recommends the approved Single Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA) to the governing board.

6. Monitors implementation of the SPSA.

All School Site Council meetings are open to the public. Please refer to the agendas for information on public comment at the meetings. Currently, SSC meetings are schedule for the 2nd Monday of each month (unless conflicts with non-attendance day):
