Sac High is still accepting applications for all grades for the 2011-2012 school year.
There is no tuition and there are no entrance requirements – An essay, transcripts and test scores required for application process, but are not used to determine eligibility for enrolling in Sac High. These documents are necessary for scheduling purposes and records.
There are no district boundaries – A student may attend Sac High regardless of the location of his/her residence.

HOW TO APPLY
Complete the Sac High application (see above for appropriate year):
- All fields must be completed
- Must include parent/guardian signature
- Student essay (see last page of application)
- Indicate 1st and 2nd choice of learning community (Click here to read about our four learning communities)
Submit required documents:
- Copy of official birth certificate
- Copy of immunization records
- Mailing address verification (i.e., copy of PG&E or SMUD bill)
- Transcript from current/previous high school (10th - 12th grade only)
- Behavior/Discipline record from current school
- Uniform Policy and Commitment to Excellence Contract signed by student (attached to application)
- Copy of current IEP/504 plan (Special Education students only - NOT REQUIRED but highly recommended)
- CAHSEE scores (if entering as 11th/12th grader)
- STAR/CST scores
- CELDT scores (if ELL or have taken in past 2 years)
- Proof of guardianship (if other than birth parent)

Admissions Info Session
Open to anyone interested in learning more about enrollment as transfer student in 2011/2012 or freshmen for Fall 2012. Meet the principal and receive important information regarding:
- The application process
- The learning community structure
- Our college-going culture – AP classes, college visits, SAT/ACT prep
- Academic achievement at Sac High
- Clubs, activities, art and athletics
- Graduating from Sac High
- The campus through guided campus tours

SCHOOL TOURS
Tours are available Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday between 9:15-10:00 am.
Tours must be scheduled at least three days in advance.Call the admissions office at 916-649-7910 to schedule a tour.
SHADOW DAYS
Shadow days at Sac High allow potential students the opportunity to experience life as a Sac High Dragon. A current Sac High student enrolled in the learning community of the potential student's interest will be assigned to serve as the guide for the morning. Students will meet our Small School Senate and Student Activities Director, attend class, including our Advisory class, have a tour of the school, and meet with school staff to answer any additional questions.
Shadow days are available Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday (7:30 am - 10:00 am).
All students must follow the Sac High dress code during the shadow day.
