Thank you for your interest in Sacramento Charter High School (“Sac High”). Applications for the current school year (2012-2013) are no longer being accepted. Enrollment for the 2013-2014 school year will be determined by a random public lottery on May 1st, 2013. The deadline to submit an admissions lottery applications was Friday, April 26, 2013. Any new applicants must complete an enrollment packet and provide all supporting documents to be added to the wait list. New applicants will be added to the wait list in the order which we receive a complete application.

ADMISSIONS INFO SESSIONS

Admissions Info Sessions allow potential students and their parents/guardians to learn more about Sac High from our principals, staff and students through presentations, Q&A sessions, one-on-one discussions, and informational tables. Take a tour, meet the principal, and talk to current students, teachers, and coaches.

SHADOW DAYS

Shadow days at Sac High allow potential students the opportunity to experience life as a Sac
High Dragon. A current Sac High student enrolled in the learning community of the potential
student’s interest will be assigned to serve as the guide for the morning.

Shadow days are offered ONLY Tuesdays and Thursdays during the school year to
prospective students in 8th -12th grade. Each shadow visit runs from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
During this time the shadow visitor will attend a college prep class, meet students and faculty and will be given a tour of Sac High’s campus.

All students MUST follow the Sac High dress code during their shadow visit.

• Black, grey, white or khaki pants/shorts
•Each shadow visitor will be given a Sac High polo to borrow during their visit
•No jeans or red or blue
